غَضَب

"The strong man is not the one who wrestles; the strong man is the one who controls himself when angry" (Bukhari 6114). The Sunnah remedy is immediate: seek refuge in Allah, and the heat leaves the heart.

1. A'udhu billahi mina sh-shaytanir-rajeem

أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ

A'udhu billahi mina sh-shaytanir-rajeem

I seek refuge in Allah from the accursed devil.

The Prophet ﷺ said: if a man says this when angry, his anger will leave him. (Bukhari 3282)
